As one of the oldest Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese and a member of the Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese, we offer a rich, inclusive, balanced, and faith-filled approach to education in the Catholic tradition that is inspired by the life and teachings of St. Augustine of Canterbury. We are committed to high expectations and providing the best possible learning environment in which all students can thrive, grow, and realize their potential as unique individuals, academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
Much is asked of students and parents because we believe that, in doing so, we are together able to provide students with the foundation they need upon which to build their futures as Christian leaders. All families are encouraged to participate fully in the faith community that is St. Augustine and to live a life of witness in faith. It is in doing so that the school mission to teach children to be kind, generous and diligent, and to have respect for everyone in society, without exception is fulfilled. Like St. Augustine himself, we are called to spread the word of God by being living examples of Christianity.
I feel very privileged to be a part of St. Augustine's, where there is a true sense of community, where each member makes his or her own unique contribution, and where all experience the joys and struggles of working and growing and being together in Christ, which makes our school a truly special place.
